Hatch day is Sunday for me on yours. Broody is taking care of biz!

Your egg color had so little variance decided to let her go the distance.

We both set the batches of silkieds 21 days ago yesterday and waiting yet.....

Float tested the silkied chocs and only 2 sinkers and no high floaters.
So out of 20, 16 still in the game!

Considering the PO ran them around in trucks for 5 days....

EdenCamp, hoping you found another incubator in the swap today! You guys let me know and I'll shoot another box out to you- I won't until I hear you have more room, because I don't want you to have to kick eggs out...

If you don't get the HUGE box today, let me know.

In other news, I got lots of Mauves in this last hatch, and my month-olds are looking really good.

Box was at the PO this morning and picked it up and bolted to meet up with Chickie and divy up. Hadn't gotten home yet and got the news from her 2 external pips! Woooot! Think we're just being slow hatchers.

Didn't find another bator but this hatcher holds 60 eggs and I do have a broody HEN. If I don't have pips tommorow then, yeah, won't use scovie broodys for them again.

Yes, do wait- if you have pips you'll have chicks in the morning! Let them do their thing, because they really don't have hatching issues like early Silkied Ams did. Candle in the morning, and if you see moving beaks, mark them. If those haven't pipped by evening, you can put a TINY hole in the top of the egg where it won't interfere with normal pipping/zipping so they can get good air. It's sooooo hard to be patient!! I know....

So glad!! Everything look intact? I DO love the foam (thanks to lamike- he's the guy with the foam!! Sent me some Turkey and Silkie sizes last time, too!!) and it really holds the eggs tight but gives with bumps and drops.

All three of my Silkies (the breed) are broody now, so that's the last of the eggs for a while. Hope you get some- they are really nice.

Looked FABULOUS as usual!
Just now finished popping them out of foam and into cartons to sit and take a looksee.
So tired I fumbled fingered and dropped a maran

Think I'll wait til morning to grade and ID#.
Candle the silkieds and maybe do a float to check for movement.

Hatch day tommorow for the hard feathered chocolates.

Fat, dumb and happy.....but ohh so tired.
