Very nice looking hen

She does look a lot like Truffles and your comment about the rooster reminded me I needed to add to my comment to Diamante that her little rooster isn't chocolate but if he actually comes from Chocolate breeding he may be a split for chocolate.
Has your little chocolate hen started laying yet? I'd love to see what you get from that cross. I have Truffles in with T-Roo who is the same color as your rooster but not a chocolate carrier.

Thanks for the info. I was just wondering because i knew he was chocolate as a newborn and his dad had a chocolate type color on him. Plus he does have a brown/chocolate spot here and there.

All pullets are chocolate, I have one that ended up solid choc but the others ended up with some detail to them, one cockerel colored out like dad and the other is black. Being that this group is not 100% serama the results are as I was expecting. I am very happy with my project and look forward to future crosses. It just shows that serama's have endless possibilities.

His father is buff split for chocolate, and his mother is just buff. I thought the green legged one was a pullet as well, as both parents have yellow legs, but both are males.

Actually, on second look, Mother's legs aren't super yellow. I may have solved a mystery!
