Chocolate!?

Hi everyone. Been following for some time but this is my first post. This morning I thought I was giving my 6 girls a treat by giving them a regular donught with chocolate icing. I left it in the run and went to work. Now I am second guessing my self after searching and seeing chickens can't eat chocolate. Will one donught worth of frosting hurt them? Help!?

I doubt it will hurt them, but its not a good snack for them. the sugar alone prob has them all jittery.

Chocolate icing is more sugar than chocolate, so they are likely ok, just don't do it again.

Chocolate icing on most donuts probably isn't chocolate at all (don't get me started on "chocolate-y"). That said, all the sugar alone makes it not the greatest of treats, but one donut here or there isn't the end of the world.
