I've got 7 chooks with their broody in a coop inside the pen of a flock of 11 adults, 1 roo and 10 hens. The babies have been inside the flock pen their whole life (1 month) and their mama is still caring for them. I'm ready to let them out into the general population, but I realized they are still small enough to slip through the holes in the electronet fence. Of course Mama can't, and they may want to stick with her.

    Any opinions?
