Choose a Shelter Dog - Video Link

All of my cats and dogs are shelter or rescue pets. So are some of my horses and one of my bunnies. They are always the most loving and devoted pets. And I love the Diva Kitty in a tiara picture!

MY list of unwanted pets I have loved and raised:
Corporal, Arab gelding, RIP, June 2009--Owned 23 years
Bid against the MEAT MARKET at an auction when he was 4. Trained him to English Pl., Western Pl., Military

Foo Foo, Miniature Dutch rabbit, RIP, October 2007--Owned 6 years
Grandmother got for Granddaughters, who lost interest. She was a nurse who met DH when he went in for Gall Bladder surgery. Got for DD who lost interest--I took care of her every day until she died. NOT SPAYED, never bred

Huksley, Grew rabbit, RIP, February 2007--Owned 4 years
Friend lost interest. Took the rabbit when neighbor's kid lost interest. I took care of him every day until he died. (He came with an awesome hutch that I have since used for chickens.) NOT NEUTERED, never bred

Tomkins, cat, white & grey spots, Owned 2 years
Showed up starving at my door. Now he is ALWAYS a little overweight. NEUTERED at 6 months old.

Pygma, dog, 1/2 Lab/GS x Pitbull, Owned almost 2 years--Birthday is Thanksgiving!! (We'll have a party for her)
January horse auction--cold as HXXX!! Everbody walked by 7 puppies from an unwanted litter, but no one took any. I KNEW that I had room for one more dog, so I picked her. NEUTERED at 6 months old.

EVERY ANIMAL on my property (except my mare) has been spayed on neutered.
I, too, believed that it is important how you care for your animals.

Ok, i liked the vidoe. I jus didn't see what spaying and neutering had to do with abused pets dropped off at shelters.
