A: The starter feed you select for your chicks can have a direct impact on long-term growth and performance.
For growing chicks, from day 1 to 18 weeks of age, protein is an important nutrient. Look for a complete feed with at least 18 percent protein to provide the building blocks the chicks need to grow.
