I moved them to an outdoor pen. (with heat lamp, chained to a wood pole.) Their pen is not located near hens.

I did have to make the outdoor pen warmer, we got frost last night. They are okay this afternoon.

Gregg is so cute, he is a very meaty strong bird for a 2 week old chicks.

Winter is fun, 4-5 months or more of snow.

We just had our first fire in the woodstove for the season...

I am used to log cabins, growing up I didn't live in this one, but we were care takers for it, and I had it all to myself as a play house.

I brought my chicks back to their indoor pen, it got cold the last 2 days. Brr! It is sunny today, so I may bring them out when it warms up, with a heated area.
