I am making some homemade ornaments out of some big, beautiful pine cones that fell off our largest pine tree this fall. I'll post pics when I'm done.

Today, I put up my Hallowe'en lights. Yup, Hallowe'en lights. I have green, purple, and orange lights, and I change the porch light to a blacklight. I also have a fog machine and a strobe light for Hallowe'en night. Hee hee.

While I was putting up the Hallowe'en lights, I made mental plans for this year's Christmas light decor. We just moved into this house last spring, and I haven't put up Christmas lights here yet. I am going to need more extension cords...

I use a solar timer to turn our Christmas lights on and off outdoors. I hang them up in November and forget about them until January.
