Christmas for the chickens!

Anyone got any ideas what you're going to give your chickens this christmas? I think I'm going to put mealworms at the bottom of their food bowl as a surprise! They sure love mealworms...

I made 'Bird his own pumpkin pie. going to give it to him while the girls are eating thier goodies. that way he doesnt give it away to them. I got the girls a bag of mini marshmallows (their favorite thing in life. even over and above the mealworms!).

Christmas for the flock is sooo fun!!!!! almost better than for the cat and my DH.

Mine are getting a christmas breakfast that consist of.....

Regular food
Suet feed
Worms
Yogurt
Oatmeal
And mealworms. All mixed together! They Looove it!

Hehe I have it all planed!
A warm bowl of oatmeal in the morning along with some warm water and soaked basil leaves <--they love them
There present (a suit cake) in the afternoon
and a scrambled egg meal full of meal worms and grass roots for the evening!

I just got mine a new coop. I ordered it from the nice folks over at ranch-coop.com. Super nice folks and the delivered it right to my door all set up and ready to go

But, I'm going to give them apples/potatoes (Sp?).
