Christmas Hatch

Good luck! Sorry about your rooster; sounds like he was doing a good job protecting "his girls".

Update on mine: I pulled 6 eggs yesterday (day 10) that were clear, leaving me with 14 total. 11 of these are in the incubator, and the other 3 are a test for my little Japanese Bantam, who has gone broody for the first time. Luckily for her, I have a portable lizard cage that is the perfect size for one broody bantam with a few eggs, so she can stay inside where it's warm.
Ain't she cute.
Adorable!

I'm about to put mine into lockdown I think. I need to recheck the calendar because it just feels WAY too early but time flies when your busy. If so I will be on lockdown around eleven tonight. That's right at three days before due date!

Good luck. My 14th day for candling is tomorrow; I'm hoping-just 9 were alive at 7 days.

I stopped the turner on day 13 but left them in it air cells are looking good but we are down to 7 still going, lock down will start Thursday. Was done on recommendation of some one that has great results in the LG incubator, doing that have had a lot less early deaths than the previous hatches.

Brooding again in the same cereal bowl as last time. Rather odd though, when I was looking at her this morning she completely fills the bowl. The first time (picture) there was room to spare.

The best of luck to everyone; myself included. Three of my eggs are from my frizzle. This is her first eggs to be fertile so I'm pretty excited about it. And a few days after Christmas Frizzy will be hatching her own eggs. It sure would be nice to get another frizzle.

We have two pips and wiggly eggs all over! I'm so excited! I know I shouldn't be because so much could still go wrong but I am so very excited!

Good luck out there to all the other hatchers! Remember we need pics. Pics of the first pip shortly.
