Gl to you and everyone coming up on hatching, lock down for me starts tonightWe have two pips and wiggly eggs all over! I'm so excited! I know I shouldn't be because so much could still go wrong but I am so very excited!
Good luck out there to all the other hatchers! Remember we need pics. Pics of the first pip shortly.
This colder weather is throwing off my incubators. Had to up the temps. My one is way off and I'm trusting the four other thermometers inside. Had to set it to 104 just to get 98.5-100.
Hope everyone's hatches go well. I only had one duckling make it, need to find it some brood mates now.

13 is a good number! And good luck on your hatches!Good luck in finding brood mates. One is better than none. I candled the last of my serama eggs this morning. Of the original 21 eggs 13 are alive and growing; 4 days to go for the first two clutches to hatch.
I have 18 silkie eggs that I dropped in the 'bator a while back. I'm expecting them to hatch on the 26th. So,they will be Boxing day chicks. I am a terrible candler - they all have something going on in there. Not sure if it's good or bad, but I didn't see any clears. It's my first hatch, and these will be the first set to go in to lockdown. I have another 7 set to hatch on 1/1. Then 5 to set on 1/4.
Let's hope that at least some of them make it!!
