This turned out just beautiful!
@fenrosie when do we mail out our MRs closer to the 15th?
I would think any when between now and the 15th, just waiting on three addresses .
That is so pretty! You must love to quilt and create!! You are such a good designer!
ok, it's gonna look a lot like Christmas, the postman is gonna bring me goodies
Ok ladies! I need some encouragement! I was supposed to quilt my mug rug yesterday. I made a mock up of it and drew the pattern I wanted to do, but my fmq was just not up to what I want it to be. I practiced several patterns, but not comfortable putting them on the mug rug! I really love the way my mr turned out and I'm afraid the quilting will ruin it! I know it's all psychological, but I just can't do it! I started a very simple fm line, but ended up having to take it out a couple of times because I had my bobbin threaded wrong. Now I've decided I don't want to do the straight lines. I'm going to practice some more this evening. I have my own deadline that I need to meet by this weekend, so necessity will push me to get it done!! This is all a self-imposed, unnecessary stress!!! I WILL face my fears, and "get er done"!!!!
What kind of goodies!!!???
Take a look at this site and stop worrying you will always see the imperfections but others won't, unless you say look here right here I goofed
my MR, my DH says I'm spoiled, course I do have batiks coming in the mail.
These are pics from a little quilt swap Majack, fenrosie, and I participated in, the link so you can see more http://anotherlittlequiltswap.blogspot.com/
the quilting is not meant to be perfect and that is what adds to the beauty so don't try to make it perfect, enjoy and it will be beautiful!!!
Look at the little boat, I was given this by one of our blockers and I incorporated it into a rag quilt for my son, I think this is just beautiful and it's stitching is not meant to be perfect.
