Ok ladies! I need some encouragement! I was supposed to quilt my mug rug yesterday. I made a mock up of it and drew the pattern I wanted to do, but my fmq was just not up to what I want it to be. I practiced several patterns, but not comfortable putting them on the mug rug! I really love the way my mr turned out and I'm afraid the quilting will ruin it!I know it's all psychological, but I just can't do it! I started a very simple fm line, but ended up having to take it out a couple of times because I had my bobbin threaded wrong. Now I've decided I don't want to do the straight lines. I'm going to practice some more this evening. I have my own deadline that I need to meet by this weekend, so necessity will push me to get it done!! This is all a self-imposed, unnecessary stress!!! I WILL face my fears, and "get er done"!!!!![]()

I feel you pain, I HATE my quilting. I look at other people's quilting that is less then perfect (intentional or not) and think oh how folksy, or cute, or whatever other positive comment fits, but when I look at mine I feel it ruins my whole quilt project.
