You can get white fabric with little patterns in white on it. There is white on white, cream on white, white on cream and cream on cream. The creams vary, some are almost taupe, but the whites are always the same. I think Kassaundra has used a white on cream in a her fourth pinwheel block but it is difficult to tell from the photo. I've used white on white in blocks I have sent you, the autograph block and the big chicken block spring to mind.
I really think we should not mess with the size, Katz. The tutorial on the Missouri site for disappearing pinwheel 5 is so clear and easy to follow and makes a wonderful quilt.
