Christmas in October block Swap

thanks for posting the link. I won't be participating but I found a couple of nearby shops I didn't know about. I'll read more on it.
If you go by the shops you can get the "rowbyrow"patterns free, just ask and then you can put them in your "I will get to you someday" pile

Anyone working on their Christmas swap blocks yet? I have most of the fabrics cut up but need to start still in making the first block.

I have my christmas fabrics ready...washed and ironed...I can't decide on how to do my blocks tho... Should I do them all the same? Different? Random.... Should I quilt them? Or not? Since someone might want to quilt thiers in a quilt themselves? I've never done this before so y'all tell me.

You just make the block. Total size should be 12.5" square.

You don't need to quilt it, that is our part, we just exchange the blocks.

Block requirements:

You can do any block, 12.5" x 12.5" finished size, in " traditional " Christmas colors ie; red, green, gold, creams.
No blues, pinks or purples.

We will need to make 12 blocks. Due date will be October 31st.
The amount of postage you send is the same amount that it takes to send the blocks to me so I can send your blocks back to you. Don't forget to send a SASE and put your BYC name somewhere in or on your package, it's easier for me since I don't know most of you by your real names.

REMEMBER you are the artist so get creative. Make all the blocks the same or different it's up to you!!!!
