Well, we just finished a dinner that I spent 12 hours cooking, no one seems to have noticed.

Merry Christmas everyone. Remember you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your relitives. This will all have passed by next week and Christmas only comes once a year. Thanks to God for that!

I'm not sure what your family dynamic involves but it sounds like it's blended and if that's the case, please try to remember how hard it is on kids to work everyone in (sorry if that's not the situation)! Plus, it's hard for us to go from having our "whole" family together, then divorce and so on......

I myself am refraining from the wine, as I have church in 2 hours. After that, may have to have a glass.

My mom made green bean lasagna and we met at church at 4 and since the weather is cruddy and getting worse, she sent me home with my own lasagna casserole dish for me and my 2 girls with bread.

I'm loved.


And thanks for sending and spending some cheerful moment with me this Eve.... my girls think I'm in here wrapping their gifts. te he he...

Hang in their Boyd, they eventually find their way back home. My brothers and sisters, neices and nephews all went through the going to other relatives house for holidays. That lasted for a year or two. Everyone wants to be back home with my Mom and Dad. Little house (1bathroom) Have to bring in a picnic table if half of us even make it home. Now the Great-Grands want to be there too.

They will figure it out. Nothing beats being at home.

I'm in NC and my folks are snowed in in NJ. Man I wish I was there!!
