Some people do that, it’s cool. I am ready to tear it all down by the new year though.

Some of that probably comes from my dad; he wouldn’t leave anything plugged in when he left the house and xmas trees were very ahort term decor. He drilled fire safety into our heads my entire childhood and it drove my husband nuts when we first got together.
