Chx eating their eggs

We have tried just about everything mentioned to stop our girls from eating their eggs, short of watching them all day! eg: dish soap in egg shell (they eat it), gravel, cat food, etc.. What to do?? Eat them?? and start again in the Spring? They are in our shed in a coop built for them. We have nesting boxes and they don't use them but lay in a nest they make in the corner.
