Ciao! from Pennsylvania! Sounds like you're already on top of the security issue. The next thing might be to consider which breeds you like or want....weather tolerance, egg production, egg color, temperment, etc. It's a bit like entering the penny-candy shop with only 5cents in your pocket. But it's a whole lot of fun & quite an adventure. Welcome to the forum!
