I've always just gave straight water to newly hatched poults. Is there any benefit to adding cider vinegar and molasses to water to aid in the first few days and if so how much to add to a gallon of water.

No to ACV or vinegar. ACV can interfere with the proper absorption of calcium. ACV has been proven to be harmful at high temperatures. I consider brooder temperatures to be high.

Molasses is basically sugar. It won't hurt them.

If you want to add something helpful, use Nutri-drench or Rooster Booster.

I don't add anything. Day old poults get warm water in the brooder.
