Cinnamon Queens a breed?

My two sex-links (feed store didn't have another name for them) look just like your girl. They are great! One started laying at 17 weeks the other a few days later. The both lay dark brown eggs and I get 26 eggs between the two of them every two weeks. They are by far the best layers in my mixed flock as most of the others have slowed down for winter. They are also pretty friendly to boot.

Here are my two "Amber" sex-links (Rhode Island Red X White Rock) six eggs + a week. The purpose for the sex -link, IMO, is to pull out pullets for egg production. Also the mixing of breeds increase egg production most of the time, because of the infusion of new genes to the mix. Sometimes egg production can lower in a flock without "new bloodlines" over time.

That looks like a production red to me.

Yes she could be a prod. red or the red sex-link type you get from Big Red roo (RIR, NH,or Pro. Red)XDeleware hen, they look a lot like the male parent. Another name for this cross is Cherry Eggers.

I have had CQ's for well over a year now. They are wonderful birds. Quiet, they love to free range, the have nice big brown eggs, they are not big eaters and they get along with all the other hens nicely. I have yet to see one go broody and they are pretty hardy and hold their own.

Besides my Bo's they are the best layers Ive had! very sweet natured-dependable for their eggs 6 a week per hen...They even snuggle my bantams to keep them warm...

G'day to you all, just curious if anyone has any experience with crossing a Welsummer rooster over a silver laced wynadotte hen, Welsummer rooster over a gold laced hen, Welsummer rooster over lightnsussex hen??? Any photos, would be helpfull as I would like to know what they would look like and would also like to know if they could be sexed as day old chicks?

Thanks
