I actually have a cousin that shot a game warden that was snooping around in his back yard. Nothing reminds you more how little power you really have like being shot.

Gosh, I am having a hard time gtting my head around city life with horses in the back yard and then having to immediately get rid of the manure.

So what do you do with the manure?

Everybody is big time in to recycle, reuse, be green, and now the next thing somebody is going to tell me is they have to put their horse manure in a garbage can for pick up and haul off to a landfill.

When I clean stalls I wheel barrow it out into a big pile, and I ean a big pile. Every couple weeks I go out with the front end loader and turn the pile over to help the composting. You talk about an aroma.

At my old house all i had to do is run a craigslist ad for free manure and it was gone...... people even brought me stuff for letting them shovel it.....

I had a gardening club go nuts over it, and also neighbors would bring me leftover veggies and stalks for the animals.

I once had childcare licensing show up at my house and tell me that I HAD to sign papers to do with new muni regulations. I told them no. They said YOU HAVE TOO. I asked them "what will you do if I do not." They became confused and left. Never came back...... Apparently they thought YOU HAVE TOO was all they needed?

This is America. There is a whole lot that we do not have to do.

Call the town and find out if they did send these people. Just because they said they were from the town doesn't mean they were. Could be theives looking to see who is home and what you have.
