City of Ashes RP ~~Players Needed~~

Sky looked around warily, eyes narrowing as she eyed everything with suspicion. It was as if the city just..... Died. Like everyone left the city to crumble, never to return to their home. But why? What had happened so bad that everyone would want to evacuate? She kept her expression blank as her piercing silver eyes drifted from the buildings, shadows and road to the darkened windows.

Silva staired in awe of the goliath structures that rose above them in various stages of decay, silent and weird. Not a living thing could be seen or heard. Even the few birds that she had heard in the woods had gone silent, only a breath of wind whistling eerily through the streets cast it's dark mood.
As Autumn and Beatrix spoke, Silva was sure to tap Cable's shoulder and motion with her head towards the person talking. Dispite her shock, she didn't want to forget her promise to Cable.
The city was certainly dead...but why? How? Silvia's skin crawled but she swallowed hard and kept her face stony. After her first shock, she tried to control her outward emotions. She didn't know how the others felt, but the less the knew of her fear-filled excitement the better. This place was creepy enough without their imaginations running away from them.
Her voice sounded small as she penatrated the quiet," so... How will we go about this? I agree with Beatrix... This place is a waiting silence. We have no idea what is in there...we don't know what will happen. I suggest we all stick together, no splitting up unless absolutely necessary." She looked around at the others, excitement or fear displayed on their faces.

Silva drew her weapon and gritted her teeth. This was going to fun. Terrifying...but fun.
Just the vacation she always wanted...
Her complaining thoughts were interrupted as she caught sight the the weapon less Cable...
Oh no...Cable had no weapon! Of course...their powers were nothing to sniff at but...none of them were completely used to using them. No one even knew the extent of their abilities let alone whether or not they could use them quickly or for long periods of time. What if they ran onto big trouble?
Calm down, she told herself, don't ask trouble for yourself. Nothing has happened yet!
Silva turned and took her first step towards the city.

Alexis paused and picked up a piece of wire. She used the wire to tie the torches together so they could hang from her quiver. She smiled and got her bow set, ready to fire if needed.
Leah switched the pot to her other hand and pulled her bow out, as ready as she could be, without losing their water.

Silva watched Beatrix nearly hopping out I her skin with excitement and almost wanted to join her in a race to danger...but she thought of the others and her hesitation returned.
She needed to think as a group, not an individual desire.
Otherwise...she would never have no problem running head-on into the danger before them. She would even relish it...but no. There was more than her own life to care for in this situation. And the more skilled fighters such as Autumn and Beatrix and even Elisha would, like Silva, first want to rush right in. It wasn't that she thought they didn't care...it was just that she knew the look in their eyes. they smelled danger and like a hound after a rabbit they were aching to find it. Silva had to ignore her own warrior sense and make sure everyone made it.
