Tryst hid his emotion. That comment about the stuttering had hit a touchy spot. He hated the stuttering...it loomed over him like a panther ready to pounce, to make him look like a fool every time he lost his nerve. He knew he could control it...but not when he was scared.
He walked back and sat down next to Cable again. "To each his own." he said without any emotion. He looked around and in a different voice said, "I hope they come back soon. Maybe we should gather leaves to make, like, beds or something. They will be really tired probably." He smiled at the sleeping Silva. "She doesn't need a bed. Wish I could sleep like that."
Cable's eyes swept the 'camp ground' and nodded to Tryst "You can count me out, I'm sleeping in a tree. But I'll help you with everyone else's." He looked up at Garret jumped and turned just in time to see Tryst's comment. "i think you're mistaken, I did not 'fall' as you say, i gracefully descended." He turned to him, grinning like a manic.Tryst turned to Garret, "Whoa! Watch out! We've got falling people again!" he nudged Cable mischievously. "Did you see them coming back, Garret?" Tryst asked a bit more seriously.
