Garret watched the city come closer as they walked. He kept his swords out and ready to defend them if something attacked.

Alexis and Leah walked quietly, studying the buildings as they came closer to the city.
 
Silva drew her sword slowly and then switched it to her left hand. It fit comfortably in her palm but she wished her right arm wasn't out of commission. She knew the cut would completely scab over quickly but until then she was determined to use it as little as possible. The way she saw it, things would just get more dangerous the further in they went so the quicker she healed, the better.
 
(Hey Mantha? I can't speek for everyone...but I am pretty sure, due to the serious lack of posts on this rp, that everyone is kinda waiting for you to instigate the next part of the story. I'm at a loss for what to do next and hope you throw us a bone soon...just sayin')
 
Autumn looked up at the charred, crumbling buildings, looming above them like monsters, ready to strike. She felt a wave of uneasiness as she stepped into a thin layer of ash on the ground. She turned around and waited for the others to catch up. When they finally did, she started talking. "We should split up and search the buildings individually. Isabella and Trystan, you guys go to that building." She pointed out a tall building nearest to them. "Elisha and Beatrix, you guys go over there." She gestured to the building across the street from the first. "Garret and Charlie, you're in that building." She gestured to a short but wide building, most likely a grocery store. "Alexis and Sky, over there." She pointed to a tall office building, papers littering the ground near it. "Leah and Silva, that one." She said, indicating a mostly intact apartment building. "And Cable, you're with me. We'll be over there." She nodded in the direction of a street with small shops along it. "Shout if you need anything, and stay together. Any questions?"
