goodness...we were worried about our three hens, as when we moved in a paper from the house builders you ahve to sign, says no shed, no outdoor TV areial., not more than one pet ( we already had 2 cats and a dog), no commercial vehicles etc etc..etc..
But we got the hens regardless, and as long as you dont have a cockerel we should be ok....
we decided this after seeing all our neighbours had outside aerials, and one brought a van home...so if they complained about our chickens (which thankfully are quiet) we'd complain about their aerial....daft but worth a try....in our case anyway..
Hope you can appease your neighbour....at our old house our neighbour complained about our cat, then 5 were killed, including 3 on one night...and then she became abusive and foul....and it went on until we moved....
I'm sure yours wont go to those lenghts though....funny thing is , when we moved she bought a cat to keep indoors..to prove to the other neighbours she liked them LOL (her husband had done the killing...we just couldnt prove it...although she did threaten our other cat...which then had to go to my mums house....
Neighbours....god bless them, and give everyone a big space....
Oh and trees, our garden is full....but in England, you just have to clean them up yourself, regardless of whose they are....
