I've been busy reading tons of posts. What I think I've learned is, since my chics have been pretty well acclimated to the weather in their outside brooder (2 weeks now) and for the most part are now sleeping on their roosts (2 of the 9 aren't), that I should be able to remove their brooder plate. Does that sound reasonable? They are 4 weeks plus a few days old now.
