Everheart stood beside Sunpaw as they walked through the thorn barrier into the Thunderclan camp. She glanced at Sunpaw, who was beaming with pride and happiness, holding up her vole so the clan could see it. She looked up and caught Fleetstar's eyes, filled with gentleness. Their eyes locked. Everheart's chest began to beat fast in her heart, and could not take her eyes away from him. "He's a wonderful leader and such a handsome cat... could we be mates someday?" "Everheart! Great job in teaching Sunpaw how to hunt! What a great catch!" Flutterwing, Fleetstar's littermate, interrupted her thoughts. Everheart forced herself to look away from Fleetstar. "Y-yes, thanks!" Everheart meowed a bit absentmindedly. Other cats crowded around them, congratulating Sunpaw on her catch. She looked down at Sunpaw. "You did a great job Sunpaw. You deserve to eat your catch." "Thank you Everheart, I will! Do, do you want to share with me?" Sunpaw meowed hopefully. "I'd love to." Everheart responded. They padded off together towards the fresh-kill pile, but Everheart couldn't help but look back at Fleetstar who was watching after her and Sunpaw, with a sweet look in his eyes.

Fleetstar forced himself to stop dreaming after Everheart. "Who would like to go to the Gathering tonight?" he asked. Half the clan immediately began pushing to be chosen first. "Sunpaw. Featherpaw. Nightheart. Cherryfall. Cinderheart. Everheart. You may go with me and my deputy if you want." All the cats accepted. "Everheart..." he repeated softly, over and over and over. "Everheart..........."
To be continued, you'll have to have the Gathering without me. I have to go watch a motorcycle auction, though i'd rather be here my parents insist I have to see it.. I'll be back in prob 8 hour and again for longer in 11 hour from now. try to be here if you can everyone
