"Hmm strange...""It's a cat that can speak with StarClan - the star cats, you call them - and knows how to heal. But they don't take mates - StarClan rule."
Goodnight! @Addicted To Chickens do you wanna rp that now?I guess i gtg. Goodnight all. See ya tomorrow!
Mountainshine padded outside of the medicine cat den to see what all the commotion was. As she looked outside, she saw a strange-looking cat. "Probably a loner," She mused. She watched as the cat, Everheart, and Sunpaw passed by and headed to the leader's den. She noticed that the cat had strange markings on it's pelt. "Hmm. I wonder what that means." She was already having a strange feeling about this cat.Crow entered the camp and watched Sunpaw walk away to the prey pile, Everheart close behind. She sat down near the entrance and waited to be told what to do next.
Ok hang on what time zone are you in and when will you be on?Mountainshine padded outside of the medicine cat den to see what all the commotion was. Okay! I'll continue later today or tomorrow!
Crow had a sneaking suspicion that the cats of this group were not going to like her as much as she wanted them to. There were lots of glances being thrown across the camp at her, but one cat in particular was staring. A she-cat with splotches of color and piercing blue eyes was staring her down. "Hello there" Crow said with a smile, hoping the cat would stand down. "My name is Crow. What's yours?" The skull moved up and down as she spoke, and she automatically flared the wings a bit as well.Mountainshine padded outside of the medicine cat den to see what all the commotion was. "Mountainshine." She retorted briefly. She was still unsure about this new and strange cat.Crow had a sneaking suspicion that the cats of this group were not going to like her as much as she wanted them to. Crow heard the suspicion in Mountainshine's voice. "I'm Crow. I'm a loner and I was born near the star pool." She said in the kindest voice possible. "Its nice to meet you, Mountainshine." (@Addicted To Chickens what personality does Mountainshine have)"Mountainshine." She retorted briefly. She was still unsure about this new and strange cat.
"Who are you and where did you come from?" She asked calmly but giving a slight hint of suspicion.
“Hey Foxpelt!! You got a minute?” Meowed Shadeheart.Shadeheart glanced at Rushwind
"A fox attacked us near the riverclan border." She explained, just as Shiningstar answered Ashenwing.
“You, her, Foxpelt, and Rushwind may go. Tell them to meet us at sunrise tonight on the the island. Do not seem threatening, but with these cats you should be able to defend yourself if anything happens.” He meowed.
Shadeheart grinned at Rushwind and they went to tell Foxpelt.
Just a heads up! This is pretty long!
As the patrol padded through the forest, Fernpaw and Shimmerpaw walked side by side in the back of the patrol as the warriors had ordered them. "So, uh, Shimmerpaw, how's things with Bushpaw?" He asked trying to break the silence. "Huh? Oh yes, what about him?"She said as she was suddenly knocked out of her own thoughts. Hmmm... I wonder if Dawnpaw was telling the truth... Maybe Fernpaw does like me? Why else would he seem so overly excited to come on a patrol with me?
Before Fernpaw had a chance to answer, Splashpelt, the leader of the patrol, told them to go ahead and hunt near the camp while Splashpelt and Spiderfur went to hunt farther away.
As the apprentices padded on, closer to the camp, Fernpaw continued to try to convince her that Bushpaw was most likely going to dump her in the end. Bushpaw had done the same to several other apprentices before her. He had pretended that he liked them all back, but ended up falling in love with some other she-cat. Shimmerpaw just nodded her head and seemed like she hadn't been listening to him at all.
Fernpaw was crestfallen that she wouldn't listen to him. He wondered if she would ever like him back and realize that Bushpaw was going to cheat on her.
Suddenly, they heard small scuffling of leaves and caught the scent of mice. The mouse was very conspicuous and in plain sight for them to easily spot it. "Fernpaw, you go over there and hide under that bush while I stalk the mouse and chase him into your paws. Sound good?" Fernpaw nodded his head and padded slowly over to the bush careful not to make an alarming sound. Shimmerpaw was stealthily stalking the mouse moving slowly one paw at a time. Finally, when she was a about a tail-length away from it, she startled it and she chased it right under the bush and into Fernpaw's paws. As he gave the killing bite, Shimmerpaw was caught in her thoughts.
We actually do make a pretty good team. I wonder if we could hunt together more often.
Fernpaw looked up and noticed that she was staring at him with her dark blue eyes. They stared back at each other for what seemed like forever until he finally snapped out of it and began to thank Starclan for the fresh-kill. As they met up with Splashpelt and Spiderfur, Fernpaw was lost in his thoughts. I think she's finally warming up to me! We should spend more time together. Maybe then she'll notice me more.
As they padded into camp, he dropped the mouse on the fresh-kill pile. Dawnpaw spotted them together and was relieved that maybe Shimmerpaw was realizing that she had been foolish all along to think that Bushpaw liked her back.
As Shimmerpaw was walking along to go see what Stonepaw was up to, she had been glancing over he shoulder to look at Fernpaw. He really is handsome and really nice to me too. Maybe we can hang out some more. But while walking, she bumped right into Bushpaw. "Ready to go on that walk?" He asked with his charming tone of voice. "Oh! Uh, yes! Let's go!" She replied back enthusiastically. But at the same time she was forlorn. Shimmerpaw was now torn between two worlds. Fernpaw? Or Bushpaw?
I'll finish the part when they go on the walk either later today or tomorrow!
Stonepaw walked up.Fernpaw watched the two trot away and dug his claws into the dirt. What did Shimmerpaw see in Bushpaw?
He dragged himself forlornly over to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a fat minnow. The fishy flavor tasted a little stale -- maybe a day or so old.
He swung around to Dawnpaw. "What does she see in that mouse brain?" he hissed angrily. "I try to talk to her and chat and tell her that I like her, and then Bushpaw struts up and he's all she can talk about!"
His shoulders drooped. "Maybe I'll go out again with her tomorrow."
