Cleaning brooder?

How often should I clean my brooder? I have 8 chicks and the brooder is about 20 sq feet.
My chicks are 11 days old and I haven't cleaned the brooder once yet. Is that bad?
It doesn't LOOK that dirty.

I read somewhere that you are suppose to regularly fluff up the bedding, so it stay's dry. You should probably clean it when it starts to stink.

Do you have a photo of your brooder ...




This is my brooder and I purchased it in 1997 and it still works
it is 36 inches X 34 inches and with 20 chicks I clean every 3-4
days but I keep it in the shed the floor is wire so the droppings
fall away .....

Are you using sand or wood chips ???

Then I would just mix it around as you have a lot of floor space and more then most people have ....
