Does anyone have a good way to clean feathers that I've gathered? I want to clean them so I can use them for art projects.

i can say this works pretty good for me i put the feathers in a couple of pillow cases and wash them in the washer then dry them in the dryer seems to work pretty well for me but there may be other better ways.

hey Buddha dude. since I have a collection of buddahs, I need to listen to you. I'll try a couple in my next load of laundry. I'm thinking there should be a way to handwash them.

well the thinner feathers that method works well. the bigger more rigid ones such as primaries you can handwash in some essential oils or really even just some water and dawn soap. Let them soak for a little bit swish them around and hand dry on a towel if you are worried about them getting damaged at all.
