Cleaning Guinea Brooder

I do leave feed in the brooder at all times, usually I take the chicks out of the brooder to work with them. I use my call when my chicks are in the brooder, and I have to replace the feed because they've eaten it all (I think this is what you are asking about). 😁 This method is alot more work than most people use, but I've found it works for me. My guineas never give me a lick of trouble, coop every night, alert to danger, and still fly up to the porch to get attention occasionally even though they're two years old.

One of our guineas coming to say hello. 😁

thank you! Looking for that type of cooperation so I started today!

This may be a stupid question but I noticed out of my 9. 7 do everything together and 2 do everything together. So when the 7 are eating the 2 aren’t, when the 2 are eating the 7 aren’t. Only rarely does one of the 2 flip flop into the bigger group but the same one everytime (I can tell because he/she is the largest in the group) but never will it be the full group of 9. Is this normal or is there a problem in the making? Something wrong with that 1 that never joins the rest but has seemingly wooed its 1 buddy?

So handsome!!!! I’ve raised two groups of guineas. The first were raised with chicks and were much tamer: they’d take food from my hands and go on walks with me. I really loved those guinea walks! The second group is pretty wild and didn’t really tame down. Sadly, neither group will walk with me now.
