Cleanse with charcoal or psyllium husk powder

Hi folks,

I have a Muscovy duck that's getting reoccurring internal infections, but that's another post. I thought I might give her a cleanse before I start a new wave cycle of antibiotics.

Has anyone used psyllium powder or charcoal?

Charcoal I have in gel caps with 520 mg each

Psyllium husk I just have the powder and would mix it with water and use a syringe to put it in her gizzard.

If you've done either of these, or both, how much did you use and what was the result?

What are they supposed to do? I've never heard of it?
I'm sorry to hear about your bird, what are her symptoms, diet, and what have you tried to far?

Heya, thanks, that will be on another thread, I'm still writing that up. Here I just want to know if anyone has tried these two items for a cleanse. I find it best to post issues separately on forums and facebook etc . cheers
