Songster
I got this one as a chick and it's now almost 4 months old. The gal sold them as Lavender americaunas. But he/She isn't really looking like one. That tail looks rather rooster. Yes?
Thanks!

Mixed breed= Americana= EE. Pretty girl though.
If she called them "Americanas" then it's just an Easter Egger, looks splash colored to me Easter Eggers get sharp pointy tails, but I see no hackles or saddle feathers so I'm not sold on rooster, can you get some head pics? : D
No difference. There is those misspelled words, that mean mutt. Then there is the Ameracana, and the Auracuna. Ameracanas are more common, Auracunas are hard to breed, have crazy muffs, and no tail, Ameracunas have a tail, and muffs. Both are purebreeds, and lay blue eggs, hope this was helpful! Thanks! Can I ask what and if there is a difference between Americauna & Americana?

Thanks for explaining! I wasn't sure if that U in there changed anything or if it was, like you said, a misspelling in the two words. You guys are awesome and so informative! No difference.
