Click it and Ship ???

I have chicks coming from Ill. to Wash. state and the people used " Click it and Ship it" from USPS. Has anyone done this or gotten chicks with this program??

I use it all the time. It's a USPS program where you can buy and print your postage online.

They left yesterday and are to arrive on the 8th. But so is our next big wind storm. I see you are NW also hang on cause its going to blow again!

I use it for business a lot. It saves time standing in line at the PO and you get a tiny discount for printing the shipping label yourself. It takes the postage from my PayPal account.

You print the label on regular printer paper and tape it on the box. If it's Priority Mail, you can even have the USPS pick it up from your house.

You have to weigh your item.... The post office sells scales for about $30.00. It's for priority and express mail only.

And yes, you can hand the box off to your postal carrier if you have a regular mail box at your home. I have a PO Box, so I have to take my eggs down to the post office. There is a box to click to ask for a pick up also.

Ah, then I will have to invest in a scale soon. Thanks for the info. I just got a printer, so now I can actually print the labels!

I am in WA too! Our chicks came from Ohiio and arrived healthy and VERY entergetic!

your problem may have been ;you put stamps on the pkg. since 911 pkgs with postage stamps over 1 lb must be brought to the P.O. If you have metered postage( which is what you print off on line) letter carrier can take it.
