So, if you print out the label at home yourself, and you want to put the postage on say, a shipment of eggs, you can hand it to your mailman and he will take it? Cause I know that I had an issue with my mailman a few months ago where he wouldn't take a really small lightweight box with $5.95 in stamps on it because he said if it weighted over a pound, it had to be brought to the post office. So my friend ended up having to drop it off for me cause I couldn't get time off work to drop it off. And now I don't have a car to get to the post office, but I'd like the opportunity to ship eggs, so if I could print out the labels myself from home, I'd love to start shipping eggs.
You have to weigh your item.... The post office sells scales for about $30.00. It's for priority and express mail only.
And yes, you can hand the box off to your postal carrier if you have a regular mail box at your home. I have a PO Box, so I have to take my eggs down to the post office. There is a box to click to ask for a pick up also.
