Well, I've decided to clip almost my entire flocks' wings. I lost 4 hens last summer due to them flying out of the large area I have fenced for them to free-range in, and 3 just last week. 2 of the ones last summer just got out and left, and 2 were killed by dogs. The three last week were also killed by dogs. I was lucky enough to get 5 new hens of laying age from a friend, but I don't want to have to keep replacing adult hens.
