Clops: The Blind Cleft Lid Chick (Updates, Advice, and Discussion Thread)

Also here is my chick I referenced in the hatch a long thread. You can see how the opening did grow throughout her short life. She got to the point where she could range with the flock but I would not trust them all together, it made her nervous in closed spaces with the adult hens. Last picture is about 8-9 weeks old before a hawk took her. :-/

I just checked her and it looks like her eyelid is fixing itself :idunnoIt looks like the blind eye will have a closed lid semi permanently. She can open it, but she doesn't open it as much as she opens her one that she can see out of.

The part that kind of look like it was cut by scissors on both sides is closing. So weird. It's interesting though.

I'll get pictures this weekend to show everyone.
