Hello, and this is the Wild Rabbit RP! This will be hosted by @JustBabyMargo and I. First off though, the rules (please read everything below, or else you may get lost):
A) By participating in this game, I promise that all BYC Rules will be followed and that I have read and understood the Role Play Rules that are in a sticky at the top of the Games forum.

B) I promise that all content is to be rated G and suitable for all ages.

C) I promise that there will be no swearing, cursing (including censoring by using symbols) or inappropriate adult sexual activity or innuendo. This extends to mating, breeding or innuendo in non-human characters as well.

D) I promise to treat others with respect and kindness as is the BYC way.

E) I promise not to post any material that is a violation of copyright. Basically this means: if you didn't create the content (like an image / picture) and don't have direct permission from the content creator to post it, then don't.

Now, there are 3 colonies:

The Thicket Burrows
The Prairie Warren
The Marsh Colony

Possibly useful facts about rabbits:

Female rabbits are called does and males are called bucks.

All of the wild rabbits live in warrens that consist of multiple burrows. The burrows each have their own rooms and/or nesting areas. Their nests are usually filled with moss, grass, and belly fur. There are multiple entrances in the burrows so they can escape from predators if need be. All three colonies are feuding against each other to thrive.

Rabbits generally give birth to anywhere from 1-14 kits, with the average being six. First-time mothers usually fail to keep their kits alive, but, for the sake of keeping things light and cheery, we will ignore this one. As said earlier, only the alphas are allowed to raise kits without having to ask for permission. (Kits/kittens are baby rabbits)

Rabbits are herbivores who feed by grazing on grass, forbs(a type of broadleaf plant that isn't grass-like), and leafy weeds. They will also eat any vegetable matter and gnaw tree bark in the winter months. The lifespan of a rabbit is about 9 years.

On to the colony descriptions:

The Thicket Burrows colony lives in your basic woods. They are the most aggressive colony and consider themselves to be the most dominant. They are the biggest colony and have the most members. The buck is the most dominant of this colony and has his choice of doe.

The Prairie Warren is located in a grassy meadow. They are unlike other rabbit colonies because the alpha doe is more dominant than the alpha buck.

The Marsh Colony lives in swampy lands so they have unlimited access to water. Their alpha buck is more dominant than the alpha doe in this colony.

Ranks:

Chiefs/top-ranking rabbits:
The most dominant members of the colony. Dominant rabbits behaviors include: controlling the group, using a greater range of movements, and being more alert. Are the only ones allowed to breed without having to ask (the lower-ranked members must be given permission).

Second-ranking rabbits:
The ones that the chiefs go to in serious situations. If the alphas are not around, these rabbits will take their places.

Other members/lower-ranking rabbits:
All others in the colony. They do whatever is asked of them by the higher-ranked members. When both the chiefs, and the second-ranking members aren’t around, the rest of the colony becomes pure chaos.

Kits:
These are the baby rabbits. They generally will grow fur at a week old, open their eyes at around ten days, and will be weaned at around 3-4 weeks of age. We’ll say they join their rank at about 4-5 months. They join the lower ranking members once they’re old enough. Most kits that join the lowest-rank will be treated much better than the others (because most kits are the alphas’ offspring).

Loner rabbits:
Are rabbits that don’t belong to any colony. These rabbits are allowed to go wherever and do (basically) whatever they want. Loners will usually have a backstory, so they will have (normally) either lost their colony, or they were kicked out. Only one (1) loner is allowed per BYC member. Some loner rabbits will also join colonies, with the chiefs’ permission, but not all will. New members are often fought by the alphas and treated badly by all other members.

Each colony has one (1) buck chief and one (1) doe chief. Each colony also has 1-2 pair(s) of second-ranking rabbits, so there will be 1-2 does and 1-2 bucks, but most only have one (1) pair.

Other Rules:

*Please try to keep it as realistic as possible (with a few exceptions).
*If anyone is hoping to bring in a big event or something huge that concerns multiple others, please talk about it, first, in the chat thread.
*Please do not use characters until they are approved by either me, or @JustBabyMargo.
*No killing others’ characters without that members’ permission.
