Clubfoot causing lameness/stiffness?

Thanks so much, the farrier couldn't find an entry point so it is possible its moving up and she did mention that it could be moving up, we will consult the vet as soon as possible to take a look at it and get a more definitive diagnosis. I really like that idea and it sounds like it'd work for Luna. We should wrap the other foot to keep the balance in her front end?

UPDATE

As you know the vet comes out tomorrow, we soaked Luna's foot in epsom water yesterday and we went down to do it today. I met with LITTLE resistance this time to picking the foot up, and upon placing it in the bath I noticed a small knick on the front. She was more active last night after the bath so it is entirely possible she pushed the supposed abscess out, she doesn't appear to be limping today. I think she may be sore in her back end from the sliding stop the other night, we're having the vet come out regardless to check her over and suggest anything else but right now she doesn't appear to be in any more pain, she is putting weight on the leg, and MORE IMPORTANTLY it is no longer hot, or swollen and she didn't resist when I picked it out like she was doing before.

I couldn't see any pus, but she is out on pasture and it did rain so it is possible it got washed out easily.

I'm crossing my fingers that it is only an abscess. Years ago my mare started limping around and we were so scared it was something serious. We had the vet out and he found the abscess and cleaned it right up and she was 110% better almost immediately. As it turned out, a few days before the horses were tearing around the field after it had rain and they turned up a bunch of small rocks. Shania must have stepped on one and bruised the bottom of her hoof, causing a big old abscess.

Hopefully the vet can tell you what is wrong. Lameness in a horse always scares me because there are so many potential causes! However, it sounds like Luna probably just has an abscess.
