I know "Chillin' with my peeps" is a favorite past time here.
Does anyone besides me have "Beers with their birds"?
I've been known to get home from work, pop a cold one, and head for the coop.
I keep an upside down (So the top stays clean.) bar stool in the corner of the coop.
The chicks like to roost on it, and I have something to sit on while I watch the going-ons of my flock.

Um... Sorry, girls. That's not for chickens.

AWWWW.. I don't drink beer but I sure do like sitting and watching the chicks, drinking some good Southern lemonade and snuggling with a Silkie in my lap.

I've done that! got 2 comfy chairs and a table near the pen, DH and I sit out there on nice evenings. Very relaxing!

I been to your bar before.... met a dude there...his name was Bird

It was a happening place, lots of chicks.

Bird n I had a few of your beers, and we started to have beer goggles and did some 'luvn..

Then I found out he was attached to 7 others!!!!!! he was scared he was gonna get cought at your hoppin coop!

So we left you and your chicks before we got cought......

but Bird's #1 hen was doing the same!!!!
