Coccidia? Not? I don't want to lose my girl but I have no idea what to do

over the weekend, I noticed one of my Orpington girls (will be 2 years in march) had a pale comb. She was acting normal, just pale, so I kept an eye out.

On Tuesday, I saw she was moving pretty slowly, puffed up, wings held down, not super interested in food or water, but was still eating. I couldn't single out what her poop was like, so I started CORID because she seemed to have the majority of the symptoms I was reading about for Coccidia.

I separated her, have her in a dog crate in one of the stalls in my barn with pine bedding and some hay to fluff up, along with some wet down crumble, egg, water, and I added in some grass i have been growing inside the house for her.

She isn't interested in food or water, but I've been giving her water with a syringe so she's at least getting the CORID in her system if that will help, along with staying hydrated. She did eat all of the grass I had cut off for her. I have only seen one poop after I crated her, and it was from yesterday. and it was a little watery, with white/green in it. No blood.

She feels like she's lost a ton of weight, but I'm so confused, as she has always been a good eater. I tried to feel around her hind end for anything solid in case she was egg bound, but I can only find one small hard lump that is definitely nothing egg like. She is not doing ANY tail pumping, no gasping for air, her vent is not opening and closing, so I don't think she is egg bound.

I'm at a loss. I love this girl, and she was one of my original 3 girls, and I have no idea what to do. It's still chilly in the barn, should I move her into the house to help? Will that potentially stress her out even more if she can't hear the other chickens? I don't want to lose her.

I'm very sorry this is happening to your girl. How does her crop feel? And is there anyway to put a heat source in the stall you're keeping her in?

Any avian vets nearby? Otherwise will she eat scrambled egg? Also try adding baby bird feeding formula to what ever she'll eat. You can also feed it to her in the same manner you are giving her water. This will give her much needed calories and electrolytes. You can get it at Petsmart or any pet store.

I tried the scrambled egg, but she wasn't interested, just wanted the grass. I'll see about the baby bird formula. If it gives her a better chance, I'll try it.

The closest avian vet is over an hour away and from what they said on the phone, only works once a week and won't bein until next week.

Also not so much on the heat source part without endangering the barn, but I'm going to just bring her inside in our guest room so that the weather is not a factor, as we found out it is going to be single digit at night in the next couple days.

Sometimes cancer or reproductive infection can be possible causes of illness, but unfortunately, they are hard to diagnose. Sometimes we don’t know until death, when a necropsy can be done to look for problems. I would try first to get her drinking water, and electrolytes or Poultry NutriDrench 2 ml daily given orally might give her a boost. Then try watery chicken feed, scrambled bits of egg, tuna, canned cat food are acceptable in small amounts to try to tempt her to eat. Coccidiosis which usually affects young chicks, is something that most hens build up resisitance to, unless they are having trouble with their immunity to fight off common diseases. I would be tempted to add an antibiotic to her treatment.

Today she drank water, but is now gasping for air while standing and laying on her side, and her eyes are only partially open like she's in pain.

She won't eat anything, I tried it all. I started syringe feeding her with the baby bird food as well as syringing water into her that has corid and some electrolyte.

Any recommendations for antibiotics?? I can't attach a video here but there's a link i uploaded of a video of her here:
