Decided to pull out my still new sealed bottle of Corid (that I bought who knows how long ago) to see if it was still good. The Lot Number and Expiration Date area on the label are completely empty. Pristine white rectangle with no data in it. Haha. I was cursing for a second until I noticed the lid/cap has a lot number and expiration printed on it. Why can't they follow their own label design? Guess the printing machine must have changed before they ran out of labels/stickers....

I just watched this whole video, loads of good info, now I am worried about my girls, I don’t want them to get sick. They appear healthy, came from what I believe to be a good facility, I keep a very clean coop .. would it be prudent tho to use the Corid as a preventative? What is your thoughts on medicated verses non medicated food?

First...how old/young are your birds?

They are all 4.5 months, same hatch date. Came from Meyer’s hatchery in Ohio

If they haven't showed signs of it by now they probably won't.

You don't have other chickens correct?

It prompted me to do some more searching and I found this reassuring comment for we small scale backyard flock keepers: "Immunity is best kept strong by a low level of infection, which is what happens on free-range.
