Also, it seems like that's all the feed stores are selling this year! =( I'm glad I've got my Cochin banties though; I wouldn't have even asked DH if I had known they'd be white, but I'm glad I have them!!! =D

oh, ok i don't remember my fist one having baby fuzz like that but he was a molted i don't know if that makes a difference or not and it has been a few yeas also. the white one belongs to my daughter she will be happy she said she likes smooth better.





i have two millies now also; they are so cute but i got them as adults idk what they looked like as chicks.

They are delicate chicks. take extra care when handling. they cannot fly so they need perches lower than with larger breeds

I use a perch that is like a ladder, this way even the youngsters can get to the top and perch if they want to.

Most cant fly very well. I have a rooster that can fly very well
