My name is Vicki..I am the proud owner to 25 delightful chickens. More importantly the owner of 4 stunning bantam Cochin hens. Barred, lemon, blue splash and blue splash/lemon. These are the newest addition to my flock and I am hooked.
I have several breeding questions I hoped this thread might be able to help me with.
I am shopping around for a rooster for my girls. Would love another splash variety, I found one several months ago who was remarkable, however it was still too early to make a firm decision on owning him. Kicking myself for that. I am yet to come across another rooster I find equally as stunning.
Here are a few question...
If I breed the splash with splash, will I get splash?
How about splash with non splash? (is splash a dominate colouring?)
I have been offered a Salmon Faverolle rooster, does anyone have Cochin faverolle mixes? If so, any pictures?
Just mulling my ideas around before I make a commitment on the rooster.
