Cochin Bantams and Frizzle Cochin Bantams!!

I don't remember who I was talking to about her, but here's a good picture of my BCF.
She's dirty, so please excuse us; she's a free range chicken and I'm sure that (since I got her at Tractor Supply) she's not breed SOP or show quality.
But she's my Snoodle and she has a special place in my heart.
And please don't judge her too harshly.

I thought this one showed her tail well. And see how the one row of wing feathers are straight?

This shows that they're not absolutely straight. See how her upper tail feathers curl so much they look almost like pipe cleaners?

Someone said that Frizzles are frizzled by degree; I wouldn't want a chicken more frizzled than this!!! I always feel like I have to be so careful when I pick her up b/c I'm afraid of pushing her feathers in the wrong direction; IDK whether it would hurt or not, but I'm pretty sure she wouldn't like it.

So, what does everyone think?

How could you judge her?!?! SHE'S PERFECT!!!!=D

A wonderful pet. She has great wide wing feathers with good curl at the ends . Hope you have a good wide feathered smooth to breed her to.

My 13 day old white frizzle bantam cochin getting her/his feathers in. So excited :D

May I ask do any of you have severe winters? i'd like some cochin frizzles but worry that perhaps my climate and long, brutal winters wouldn't work well. We do have silkies and they seem to do okay, no heat.. just good housing, feed etc.

Hi GQ... You'd be fine with CF's in Ontario... There's a few breeders here of CF's in Nova Scotia and they all thrive very well In out winters.

No, I do not. My roo is GLW x white Leghorn. I also have a SLW cockerel. She's my only Bantam Cochin. I ended up with her by accident; DH went in for 12 RIR pullets and came out with five gold Comet pullets, five white Leghorn pullets, and her.
