Cochin Bantams and Frizzle Cochin Bantams!!

Hello, I have a barred roo over black and white frizzled, a black mottled, a couple smooth white and black hens. All are Bantam's. Does anyone know mostly what colors would hatch? I know barring is slightly dominate

I absolutely LOVE my cochins, smooth or frizzle! I have kept them since I was a little girl. I had a beautiful flock of cochins, but unfortunately lost them (and 4 Buff Orp hens) to a bobcat that was roaming out property :( I love their quiet nature and sweet temperament. I have 2 younger cochins that I'm raising now. They've got a while to go before they can graduate to the large coop. My smooth white hen, Diamond, follows me everywhere. She's the only one that is allowed to hang out in the house with me, as long as hubby is no home. My red frizzle rooster (dubbed Axl Rose because of his high-pitched crow) is a beautiful red boy. He is 5 weeks younger than Diamond, but he makes up for his size in tenacity. I had another beautiful red/white calico pullet, but she unfortunately found a way to escape her the pen, and disappeared :( We've always kept a sizeable flock for as long as I can remember, but my family never really knew, or maybe never really cared, about different breeds, history, etc. We just kept them for meat & eggs (and insect control). But I will always have a soft spot for my cochins!

Thank you very much for welcoming me to the site. I look forward to more great discussions!

Do ya'll think this little one is a pullet or a cockrel? I want it but I can't have another roo!

Sorry to butt in your thread like this. I am not a cochin breeder but my sister is. She has a small flock of cochins right now. Her main focus is on Lavenders and blues. (possibly some calicos too.) I have a question though. She bought a rooster that was marked as a silver bantam cochin. I dont know what it is though. I talked to several breeders and they think its a splash but they dont know. If anyone might have pictures of splash or silver bantam cochin roos that they can post that would be great. Thank you.
