Thank you! I looked up some pictures and she is definitely closest to a brown red. I am still curious about showing. Where can i find out if she is good candidate?

Take some good pictures, front, side, straight down, spread her wing, picture of the sole of her foot. You can post it here or send them to me and I'll let you know what I can tell. Pictures make it very difficult, but try to get those above and I should be able to give you a pretty good idea.

This is my little hen, Prissy. She was the best little show Cochin Bantam that I've ever shown. She was 2 years old in this picture. She passed away a few days ago because my little cousin left our backyard gate open and a dog came and slaughtered almost my entire Cochin Bantam flock.. Critiques on her? She won showmanship last year.

I have two questions I have 4 bantam cochin

1. What dose my chickens need to enter a show

2. What do judges look for
Think basketball/soccer ball. Very simply put, a round silhouette. There is MUCH more to it than that, but if you have that image in mind when looking at the bird, you're at least moving in the right direction. My advice would be to Google show Cochins and see what you get. Also, obtain an ABA or American Bantam Assoc. Standard of Perfection book, OR an APA - American Poultry Assoc. SoP.
