Cochin breeding, genetics, and showing

Pics
Who is planning on going to either Indianapolis(Crossroads) Eastern National for Cochins International or to Eastern Iowa Poultry Assoc. Show for the western national for Cochins International? I have made plans to attend both and if they don't start dropping feathers like a pillow fight took place I plan on showing some birds.

I would love to go to the western national, but it is too far east for me.

I think I will try for Shawnee in Dec.

Yes Shawnee Oklahoma, hosted by the Oklahoma State Poultry federation, it is always a great show with a draw from all over the US. Great people, conversation and birds.. what more could a person ask for?

OK I'm just getting started so this isn't a breeding/genetics question but hoping someone can help me.
I've got to reduce my numbers so I'm selling off a nice trio of splash banties as well as 2 standard blk hens. Just have too many.
I have someone interested but have no clue on the price. These birds were hatched in March. None seem to be vulture hocked. The bantams are VERY nice.
Hen's are nice big girls with good sized muffs. Some in the pen are starting to lay, unsure which.
Help would be appreciated. Thanks!!
BTW, loving reading about everyones birds.

Great! Anyone have the exact dates? Are the cochins on a specific day or do they go on throughout the whole show?

I'm hoping I can get my neighbor to come with me to split costs. Plus it's always more fun with friends!
