Those are really cool!!!
I was a little confused.... I was thinking 'well, if your cochins have muffs you may not want to sell them for too much.'lol. Are the muffs on pigeons the same as the muffs on Ameraucanas and Faverolles? Or are muffs on pigeons their foot feathers? I guess I'm getting off topic there......
Most just refer to them as foot feathers. Could you get any pics of your cochins?

The muffs are the foot feathers on pigeons.
There's at least if not more types of pigeons as there are chickens. Most people only know about the barn type and homers.
I will post pics as soon as I figure out how.
In the mean time if y'all are on facebook there are lots of dog pics (I raise and show longhair dachshunds) and pics of some of the flock. (Dixie Paddick Dever, write in chickens so will know)

As a recognized color? No they are not. There may be someone somewhere working on them but I am unaware of it. Prehaps on the Large fowl Cochin thread someone may have different information.

I believe Bo Garrett is starting a large fowl birchen project.

Just can't guarantee that I'll have any birds there. They're so scruffy right now, you can't even tell they're Cochins.
