also, which # would you keep for a roo? since the pullet is a frizzle that gets rid of the frizzle roos

Krista

cuz you can't breed frizzle to frizzle- you get a frazzle with brittle feathers that will most likely be bald (or close to it)

They are so friendly, but have to get rid of them (roos). They are in a brooder with silkies that hatched with them, and they come running out to see me everytime I open the brooder while the silkies hang back, wish they were mostly pullets

. Anyone in Maine need/want cochin/frizzle roos???

Krista

Hi Krista! Aren't they the sweetest? The Frizzle girls are some of my friendliest birds.
#8 looks girly to me.
I don't know what-in-the-world color you'd call #7, she's different.
Poor #3! Looks kind of girly from here --- could just look that way because it's slower.
I'm tickled to see #1 (I think he'd be called blue Cuckoo). I was told way back the roo could throw barred chicks, but never got one here that kept the barring.
I love the shade of blue on #2, he's going to be a good-looking guy.
Thanks for the pics!

Well, that's it then, #8 will stick around until I definitely know. I still don't know what roo to keep

. All but 1 come out to visit and are super friendly. I may keep the slow one for now too, but would have to go if it's a roo cuz I don't want any frazzles.
Thanks
Krista
